10 Do’s and Don’ts to Attracting and Keeping a Woman
Don’ts
1.Don’t push for sex so much.
Men who begin to talk about sex during the initial stages of a relationship are unattractive to most women. Bringing the matter up too often makes you look desperate.
It also implies that you are more interested in the sex than in a long term relationship. Women are more attracted to men who show restraint and patience.
2.Don’t expect her to be your shrink.
Don’t focus exclusively on your own past or current difficulties, such as financial problems or failed relationships. How do you know she doesn’t have problems of her own that she is dealing with? Women will quickly label you a loser if you only focus on the negative. Remember, she is a social partner, not your therapist.
3.Don’t ogle her body all the time.
A man who focuses on a woman’s physical features, such as her breasts, is considered immature, sex-focused and clumsy. Doing so will offend and objectify the woman. Women will think that you are only interested in sex and not a relationship.
4.Don’t be desperate.
Even if you are driven mad by desire for a woman, don’t chase her relentlessly. Learn to practice restraint. While you should call and contact her to show your interest, you should do it in an appropriate manner and at the proper time.
5.Don’t act like a cheapskate.
Men who don’t want to indulge their dates turn women off. While you may normally be frugal, try to hold off on your natural impulses until after you have established a lasting relationship.
DO’S
1.Be a little edgy.
Being edgy means conveying a sense of distance while still remaining available. It is similar to the idea of being a powerful male while still giving the impression of vulnerability.
2.Tone down the sarcasm.
While you should maintain a sense of humor, be careful not to make her the butt of your joke. Many women find sarcasm to be intimidating.
3.Learn to listen.
Encourage your woman to talk and be an active listener instead of cutting her short to emphasize your own points. Use positive signals to let her know that she is being heard.
4.Establish eye contact.
While conversing, look into her eyes. Hold her gaze for a couple of seconds after you have finished the conversation.
5.Look cool and clean.
A common myth states that women judge men by the size of their paycheck or the make and model of their car. Instead, focus on your style of dress and hygiene. Try for a cool and stylish look and observe basic hygiene habits, such as wearing your nails short and donning fresh socks.
