Toning should be followed after cleansing. You should choose a toner according to your skin type. Toners help to close the skin pores after cleansing and it also helps to tone the skin. Take some toner in a cotton ball, and gently rub it all over your face and neck. And stated above, rub the cotton ball in the upward direction. This will keep the skin healthy, and will also tone the skin.


Daily skin care routine should consist of 3 steps; cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Buy a moisturizer suitable to your skin type, and follow this moisturizer regularly after cleansing and toning your face. Cleansing and toning should be done twice a day, and the moisturizer should be applied in the morning.

You can also apply the moisturizer after taking your bath. Moisturizer keeps the skin soft and supple, and it also nourishes the skin. Take the required amount of moisturizer and massage it gently in the upward direction, over the face and neck.

Night cream

Night creams are essential after the age of 25. Choose an age defying night cream and massage it regularly in the face and neck region. Night cream, as the name suggests should be applied in the night before going to bed.


Apart from maintaining the daily skin care routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing, you should also use a gentle scrub once every week. Scrub vacuums out the dirt from skin, and as far as skin of the neck is concerned, a gentle yet effective scrub is necessary to take out the dirt from this region. Scrub should be done in gentle and round stokes and a lot of water should be used to prevent scarring.


Mask should also be used once a week, to keep the skin firm and toned. Mask is very essential if you want to keep the skin around your neck firm. You can apply any mask according to your skin type.
