Sleek Side Bun

To do this hairstyle, first part your hair sideways. Take some hair gel, apply it on the locks or bangs, and flatten them against your forehead. Pin them on the side above the ear with the help of a bobby pin.

Sweep the rest of your hair into a side bun, setting aside one lock of hair.  Now take that lock of hair and wrap it around the elastic band holding your bun. Affix it with the help of a bobby pin. This will give the illusion that the bun is tied up with a strand of hair.

Twisted Plait

Part your hair into a slick side parting or part it right down the middle, it is completely your choice. Take one stand each from each side of the head and one from the back.

Apply some styling mousse and twist these strands. After twisting them, plait them together into a braid. You can keep the braid a bit loose and careless to give it the boho chic look or you can braid them into a tight plait.

The Fringe Look

Perhaps the most sought after look and one, which has been sported by many. Moreover, it is perhaps the easiest of all the hairstyles. Part your hair down the middle and comb the fringes out on the forehead.

With the help of a hair straightener, poker straighten your hair on both the sides, pulling it inwards towards the ends. Straighten the fringes as well. Apply some mousse after straightening it and run a comb through your hair to make sure there are no fly aways. Also make sure that your hair is a bit damp before straightening it.

Braided Headband

This hairstyle will make you look like a Greek goddess. Put some styling mousse on your hair and part it down the middle. Take three strands from the top of your head on the left side of the parting and start braiding it into a tight plait.

Repeat the same with the right side of the parting as well. Affix both the braids at the nape of your neck with the help of bobby pins. The overall look of the hairstyle is that of a hair headband.

The Cheerleader

This is your basic high pony, with a twist, quite literally. Put some leave-on conditioner and mousse on your hair.

Sweep all your hair into a high pony. With the help of curling tongs, curl the strands of hair in the ponytail. This will create a voluminous look and is a great idea if you have limp, straight hair.
