Warm Water Compress

Dip the cloth in a bowl of warm water and wring out the excess water. Reapply the warm cloth on the painful boil. Repeat this process for at least half an hour, twice a day.
Continue with this effective home remedy till a white head forms on the boil.
This particular home remedy has been widely used to treat boils since the middle of the nineteenth century. For this particular home remedy, boil one egg. Cut the hard boiled egg in half. Separate the egg yolk and the white. Now cut a small segment of the egg white and lightly wet it with some warm water. Place the egg white directly on the boil.
You can use a cloth band aid to hold the egg white in place. This home remedy can cure a painful boil in next to no time.
Tea Tree Oil
The antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties of the potent tea tree oil is legendary. To promote the healing of a nasty boil simply tip a couple of drops of tea tree oil onto a clean cotton ball.
Wipe the boil with the cotton ball containing the tea tree oil. Allow the tea tree oil to remain on the boil for fifteen to twenty minutes. Finally, wipe the excess tea tree oil away using a soft cloth dipped in warm water.
This particular home remedy should not be used by individuals having dermatitis or eczema.
For this home remedy, quarter a small onion. Place one section of the quartered onion on the boil. To hold the onion in place over the boil, you can use a small cloth band aid. Allow the onion piece to remain on the boil for half an hour. Repeat this process once or twice a day till such time that a white head appears on the boil. The antimicrobial properties of onion can heal a painful boil quickly.
Bread and Milk
Dip a small piece of bread in some fresh milk. Allow the bread to soak up the milk. Gently remove the bread from the milk and grind it to a fine paste.
Apply this mixture on the boil. Allow the bread mixture to remain on the boil for five to ten minutes. Wipe away the bread mixture with a clean tissue. Repeat this process twice or thrice a day.
This is an extremely safe home remedy which can be used by people of all ages to treat painful skin boils. Procure a five centimeter piece of fresh turmeric. Soak the turmeric piece in warm water for a couple of hours. Now grind the turmeric piece in a food processor to till it forms a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the boil. Let the turmeric paste remain on the boil for half an hour. Wipe the excess turmeric paste away with a cloth dipped in warm water.
Black Tea Bag
Most people have the tendency to discard used tea bags after brewing a cup of tea. But tea bags can be used to treat numerous beauty problems ranging from puffy under eyes to skin boils. Black tea bags are especially effective in treating nasty skin boils. Simply prepare a strong cup of tea by dipping a black tea bag in a cup of hot water.
After the brew is prepared, keep the black tea aside. Now lie back comfortably on your bed or divan. Place the tea bag on the painful boil. Let the tea bag remain on the boil for ten to fifteen minutes. Remove the tea bag. Repeat this home remedy once day till the painful boil heals.
