Alternately, you can also mix three-fourth cup baking soda to one-fourth cup water and apply on the itchy area topically.You will get instant relief.
Take a cup of oatmeal and ground it finely in the mixer. Add this grounded oatmeal to your bath water and soak in it for half an hour.The itching will subside in a few hours time.
Lemon contains anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties which can help control itching and also prevent it from taking place again. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon on the area that itches and allow it to dry completely.
Mint or Basil Leaves
Basil leaves contain good amounts of eugenol which is a natural anesthetic while mint leaves contains loads of menthol which contains anti-inflammatory properties and can be applied on the itchy area directly.
