Acne – Causes, Symptoms And Treatments

If you ask me what one of my worst nightmares is, I would say Acne. Apparently I am not the only one who has this problem. No one likes a bad zit on their face.

During puberty, it is a common skin problem for many. Usually those who have oily skin are more prone to this skin condition, but that does not mean that people with other types of skin cannot have Acne. There are several reasons why one can have Acne.

Here are some of the reasons:

If the pores are blocked due to dirt. Too much of stress. Change of hormones. Intake of too much of oily food and carbonated drinks. Gene factor – if your parents had Acne problem, you might have it too. If you have dandruff problem.

The good news is, even though it is a big deal for all of us, but this problem has easy solutions.

Here are some tips that will help you to get rid of Acne:

Keep your skin clean at all times. Wash your face with a good face wash at least three times a day and splash cool water on your face often. That will clean the dirt and oil on the skin.

Once a week, apply steam to your face. That will open up the clogged pores, and let out the stored oil and dirt. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water. That will drain out the stored toxins in the body and prevent Acne.

Here are some homemade remedies you can use to get rid of Acne:

Make a mixture of equal amount of Lemon Juice and Rose Water. Apply the mixture on your skin with the help of a cotton ball. Keep it for 15 minutes and then rinse with water, but make sure you do not expose your skin to the sun while you have this mask on.

Mint Leaves are excellent remedy for Acne. Make paste of Mint Leaves and apply it on the affected area. Wash it off after 15 minutes.

Aloe Vera has many medicinal qualities. All you need to do is extract the gel of Aloe from the leaf and apply it on your skin. Wash it with cool water after a while.

All these remedies are easy and effective. Now you are ready to win the battle against Acne.
