Summer is the time of the year when sun is on its bloom. Surf and sand calls upon you to be a part of its glory. You want to be a part of the crowd on the beach. You don’t want to be at home on a great day like this, and so in you excitement, you jut grab your sunscreen and head for the beach. What you forget is that you need to take extra care of your make up, when you are heading for such public places. Here are some tips you can refer to when making your way to the beach:-

Makeup should be minimal when you are at a beach: – it is best to start the day with a good cleaning moisturizer. Always ensure to apply a good quality sunscreen before you apply your makeup. The sunscreen will protect you against the harsh sun and the make up will make you look good. Now days you can find several moisturizers which come along with sunscreen. Dab the concealer so that the skin can absorb the moisturizer. Use a concealer which matches your skin tone.

Blush should be light and blend with your skin:-when going to the beach, make sure that you use light blusher and that too which matches your skin tone. If you want a darker tone then you can add another layer. After the blusher, lightly dust your face with a translucent powder, so that your make up looks natural, as if it is coming from deep within you. This way, your skin will look healthy. Always use a quality translucent powder to achieve a healthy looking face.

Do not ignore the eye lashes: - eye lashes are one part of the face which are often ignored. It is suggested to use two coats of waterproof mascara on the lashes. Be careful while applying so that it does not smear or smudge.
For your lips also, use a color that looks more or less natural. A good quality lip conditioner will serve the purpose. Lip conditioners soften your lips with the moisturizer present in it.

You can also use some bronze for a sun kissed look. Use a big brush and place the color in places like the center of the forehead, chin nose and neck. What you need to be careful about is, blend the color properly so that no obvious lines are visible.

Be as light as you can and try to look as natural as possible, because you would not like to end up like a pancake.
