Effective Acne Treatments for Sensitive Skin
Go for natural remedies involving the usage of Neem, Tulsi, Aloevera and Sandalwood. The face packs made of these ingredients are gentle on skin and do not cause wear and tear. They are also effective in removing the post acne blemishes and scars, with regular usage. One can mix any of these face packs with either raw milk or rose water. Milk and rose water do not have any side effects and so are best suited for the sensitive skin.
Do not scrub your skin a lot. The reason being, it can irritate the sensitive skin and cause further out breaks. Scrubbing will elongate the healing process of the acne.
Therefore, if you still want to exfoliate the dead skin, steam your face and wash out with a very mild exfoliating agent, once in a fortnight.
One of the best ways to treat acne is either let it dry naturally or use lotions to speed up the drying process. For a sensitive skin, this is the best and the most inexpensive form of treating acne. A dried acne falls of itself. When Acne pops up, using medicinal talc on it helps.
Apply talc on that spot in abundance. You can apply and sleep over it. In a few days time, the acne will be cleared, leaving the area spot less. The medicinal quotient of the talc removes the impurities and restricts the growth of acne and has no side-effects, thus it is totally safe for the sensitive skin.
Calamine lotions mixed aloe vera provide the same effect as the talcum powder. The only difference being, talcum powder does nothing to improve the texture of the skin, but calamine does.
Application of calamine and aloevera on the skin, or on the whole face, not only dries the acne, but also makes the complexion even and improves the look and feel of the sensitive skin. It comes in much liquidated form, due to which, it doesn’t require heavy massage. It moisturizes you skin and dries out the acne. It’s this quality of calamine, which makes it a favorite amongst those with acne prone sensitive skin.
Work inside out
A sensitive skin is difficult to heal, only with topical application. Therefore, you need to eat the right stuff like veggies, zinc heavy products like curd and fruits to keep acne at bay. Because for a sensitive skin, the adage prevention is better than cure, works way better than anything else. Therefore drinking a lot of water and water oriented fruits is essential. Keep the preserved and junk food at bay, as much as possible.
Consistent care though right methods, will help in clearing acne totally, over a period of time.
