Different Braided hairstylesHair braid is a popular hairstyle that has been used by women since ages and is a great way to boost the style and manageability of your hair. If you have long or medium length hair, you can experiment with different styles of hair braid and give yourself a new look every day.

It is also considered to be the most elegant style for long hair. Today, not just women but men also braid their hair to get a stylish look.  From school kids to celebrities, everyone braids their hair in one style or the other. If you want to maintain the style of hair and keep it going throughout the day, then throwing your hair up in braids will be easiest thing you can do.

Different Styles Of Hair Braids

Easy Side Braid

Amongst the different types of braided hairstyles, side braids are the most popular. A braid with either a messy look or a neat perfect look thrown below your neck and on one side of the shoulder creates a very impressive look.

This hairdo can give you a simple yet bold as well as a casual look. You don’t need to invest a lot of time for making a side braid. A simple hair spray is enough to carry this hairstyle throughout the day.

Easy Steps To Side Braid Hair

Whether you have straight hair or layered hair or any other type of hair, side braiding can be done on it. Don’t think that since you have layered hair some strands will come out and spoil your braid. Leave the layers that end near your chin, and braid your hair with rest of the hair that are falling on your shoulder or back and get a fabulous look.

You can create your own unique style by parting your hair from middle or opt for side partition. You can either clip your hair on the crown from one side and letting the rest of the hair loose or simply leave few strands for getting a carefree look. Get all your hair to the side where you want the braid to be. Now divide the hair in three equal parts and braid it to your desired length. Finally, secure it with an elastic band.

French Braid

French braid is a nice technique used to provide volume to thin hair and manage longer hair. It is a very cute and sophisticated hairstyle which can provide you a stylish and professional look.

Easy Steps To French Braid

Slightly greasy hair is suitable for making French braid. This style can be created on long or medium length hair. Take one-fourth of your hair from the top of your head and divede them into three parts, braid them in knots once or twice. Hold one strand of braid in your right palm and rest two in the left one.

Now while crossing to form next braid knot, add some hair from the side you are crossing the knot. Repeat the same process from the other side and braid. In this way, keep on adding sections of your hair from both sides till you reach the nape of your neck. When you have done the braid almost to your hair length, secure it with an elastic band. Make the braid loose or tight as per your choice.
