The party season is upon us once again. We find ourselves staring at the closet to find the perfect outfit. Once we find the right clothes, we then stare at our makeup collection to figure out the right colors. This is not as difficult as you may think. Party season is the time for bright beautiful colors. Forget about nudes and bland browns.

Pick and choose bright fun colors that will make your eyes pop and stand out. Try purples and grays blended together. You can use a liquid liner for that extra edge on your top lids. Use a deep red or a burgundy color for your lips. Your makeup will look great and so will you.

When you are going to be out for the evening, the last thing that you want to do is worry about your makeup. Having great staying power will help your makeup to last longer. Use a little water to moisten your eyeliner brush and then dip it into the eye shadow. Your shadow will last much longer if you put it on when it is damp.

You don’t want to forget about your lips. To keep your lips looking great use a nude pencil to fill in your lips and then apply your lip gloss. This way when the gloss starts to disappear, you will still have a great color to your lips. For the rest of your face, powder will help to keep your makeup from fading or melting away.

Using concealer will help you to look refreshed even when you are tired and ready for sleep. Putting this under your eyes will help them to look awake and fresh by concealing circles or even bags under your eyes. Put powder over top to keep it in place and even things out.

If you are going to a party right after work, out your hair in a pony tail or a bun so that you will be party ready. Don’t forget to use an anti frizz shampoo and conditioner if you have curly hair. Your hair will look beautiful and shiny and ready to party.
