Beautiful hair depends not only on external factors but on inner health as well. What you eat and think both affect your hair.
External Factors: It is most important that one be stress free. Yoga and meditation help to reduce stress and calm the mind. Getting an adequate amount of sleep and relaxation are also key to having good hair. A lack of specific nutrients in your diet may cause your hair to fall out. This can be corrected by taking the appropriate vitamins.
Hair care: While washing your hair use your fingertips instead of your nails to avoid damaging the scalp. Use firm, circular motions to promote blood circulation. Do not comb wet hair as it can cause breaks. When sleeping do not tightly tie your hair up as it results in further hair damage. Regularly moisturizing hair and getting frequent trims helps to maintain healthy and beautiful hair.
Hair packs: Hair packs can be used to nourish your hair. Using a mixture of equal parts honey, brandy and olive oil makes your hair shiny. Apply the mixture to your hair and wrap a warm towel around it. Leave it on for fifteen minutes before washing it off.
For soft, shiny hair mix lemon juice and water and use it as a final rinse after washing your hair. This should not be done too often, at most once a week. You can also deep condition your hair at home. To create a deep conditioner mix a spoonful of honey, an egg, a banana and some olive oil together and beat until it creates a smooth paste.
Apply the blend to your hair and leave on for twenty minutes before washing. Masks can also be used to help with split ends. Mix lemon juice and coconut oil together and apply to the tips of your hair to reduce dryness and indirectly reduce breakage.
Developing beautiful hair is not a simple matter. It takes a lot of care and attention. Using the right products and ingredients is imperative. If possible, avoid using chemicals on your hair and opt instead for natural products.
