A poor diet is one of the most common causes for women losing their hair. Vitamins can play an essential part of a healthy diet such as vitamin B. You also want to make sure that you are getting plenty of protein, zinc and iron.

The type of treatment plan your doctor prescribes will depend upon what is causing the hair loss. Remember, hair loss is common among women and may not be difficult to reverse or stop.
