Help With Choosing Eye Glasses
Our eyes are one of the most attracting and luring features of our body. Our eyes seem to tell all: secrets, lies, truths, opinions and thoughts. When you can no longer see the people in front of their face or the writings on the walls, you know your eye sight is weak. Another indication that you have eye problems is being unable read what’s in front of you without squinting or pulling it further away. This mean you are in dire need of a pair of glasses.
How do you know which glasses to purchase?
There are a million different frame types you can choose from. Some of the frame shapes are square, circular, rectangular and oval. The frame is chosen by the shape and features of your face. Everyone’s face is shaped differently, whether it’s an oval face, diamond shaped face, square, circular, long, small, short, chubby, etc.
Purchasing a pair of glasses that don’t fit your face can make you look terrible. However, if you take the time to pick a pair that complements your face, you will look as fabulous as a model walking down the runway. To figure out which kind of glasses are right for you, try standing in front of a mirror with your hair pushed back. Then, examine your face to see if you have an egg or oval shaped face, or a long, rectangular, thin face.
For those with an egg or oval shaped face, the possibilities for you are almost endless. There are rarely a set of frames that won’t look good on you.
For individuals with long rectangle faces, finding glasses is harder. A long, thin face fits best with a larger frame. Some frames that look great with this kind of face are wide, rectangular shapes, or even large triangular or round shapes. When using these frames, your face will in return look shorter and a little bit wider. This will make your face look a little fuller.
For men who have facial hair like beards and mustaches, it is more common to use smaller frames. This will allow you to be able to see, without taking away from your other features. Larger glasses tend to fill your face fully, taking away from the hair you already have there.
If you have a larger head, it is wise to go with large frames and vice versa with a small head.
Those are just some ways to choose your glasses. There are also thick frames, skinny frames, wide frames and so forth.
No matter what you’ve read though, it is important that you choose the frames that look best to you and on you. However, this is a guideline you can choose to follow. I suggest taking a friend or relative with you to let them help you with this important decision. However, you need to be truly happy with the decision either way.
