Although you should be cautious and must know, that baking soda can slightly damage your silver jewellery, but you can be certain, that it will surely remove the tarnish form your favourite silver jewelleries.
For this, take 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda, and add warm water to it. When it becomes a thin paste like thing, take the paste on a soft cloth and rub it gently over your silver jewellery.
If your jewelry has studded stones or carvings on it, you can clean your jewellery with a soft bristled brush. And after cleaning the jewelleries, wash them thoroughly with water and dry them with a soft towel.
Toothpaste For Cleaning Silver Jewelry
Toothpastes works wonder for cleaning silver jewelleries. But this will not be prevalent, if the tarnish of your silver jewellery is too old, or very stubborn.
In case of a little bit tarnish, you can use white toothpaste, not the gel ones to remove the tarnish and dull appearance of the jewellery.

Ammonia solution also cleanses silver tarnish. To make a solution of ammonia, take 1-2 teaspoons of household ammonia, 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwasher and to it add ¼th cup water. Mix all these things together.
Now dip a cotton swab, or soft bristled toothbrush in it, and gently clean the surface of the jewellery. And if the tarnish is too stubborn, you can dip the jewelleries in the solution to easily take off the tarnish.
Vinegar For Cleaning Silver Jewelry
If you want to make your silver jewellery shiny as new, then vinegar should be your choice. Take ½ cup of white vinegar and 3 teaspoon baking soda.
Make a mixture with the two and dip the silver jewelleries in the solution for 3-4 hours. This will easily remove any tarnish from your jewellery, and be sure to thoroughly wash them in water, because baking soda residues can harm the silver.
