Milk acts like a natural moisturizing agent. The 0.7% fat that it contains gives it the oily characteristic, which keeps the skin baby soft, especially during the fall season, when the skin becomes coarse and dry because of the harsh cold.

For this de-stressing treatment, pour 3 cups of milk in your bathtub along with some honey that serves the purpose of adding fragrance to the bath. Soak yourself for a good 30 minutes and wash off the milk after that.

Sugar Sugar

Sugar includes sucrose, which is a natural exfoliant and is perfect for all skin types. So if you are worried that scrubbing sugar on your face or body will result in breakouts, do not worry. To prepare a sugar scrub, you will need to mix a cup of sugar, 5 tablespoons of almond oil or glycerin and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Scrub your body, including your face using a loofah. Wash, dry, and apply a good body lotion to keep your skin supple. If you want, you can replace the sugar with salt, as it has the same exfoliating benefits. You can store this mixture for 14 days.

Lemon and Oats

All know the benefits of lemon juice on the skin. It is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which act as a natural skin brightener and blackhead remover. Oatmeal also has benefits on the skin. It is known to be a natural cleanser and can rid the skin of any irritations.

To make a facial mask, you need to mix 2 tablespoon of yogurt, 2 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of oatmeal and I tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply this generously on your face and neck and let it rest for 15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water and thoroughly moisturise your face.

Cucumber is known to have it advantages on skin, but not many known that the silicon and sulphur content in a cucumber helps in hair growth. To rid your hair off the pollution and save it from further damaging, try this hair mask. To prepare this hair mask, you need 1 egg, 2 tablespoon of milk, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half a cucumber (peeled).

Blend all the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Apply this liberally on your hair and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse your hair in water, following it with your shampooing and conditioning routine. This will keep your hair silky and promote hair growth.
