The best method of removing Whiteheads is by squeezing or by using an extractor. There are many home remedies for Whiteheads that can either prevent its formation or prepare it to be removed by normal extraction.
One of the best home remedies is to apply a paste of crushed Fenugreek Leaves on the area where the Whiteheads are concentrated. Crush the leaves until only a soft paste is left. Apply this paste on the face at night before going to bed. In the morning, remove with warm water. Besides preventing the formation of Blackheads and Whiteheads, this treatment can nourish the face and improve your general appearance.
A good mask that can be used to eliminate Whiteheads is by mixing three tablespoons of Cornstarch with the same amount of vinegar. Mix until a soft paste is obtained and then apply it on the face. Leave it there for up to 30 minutes and then wash away with warm water.
Another mask can be made from Pomegranate skin that has been roasted and powdered. Mix with Lime Juice to form a soft paste and apply on the face. This can prevent Acne in general such as Blackheads, Whiteheads, pimples and boils.
A similar mask to prevent the formation of Whiteheads can be made from Peanut Oil and Lime Juice. Take 1 tablespoon of Lime Juice and mix with 1 tablespoon of Peanut Oil. The combination of Lime Juice and Peanut Oil is good for cleaning and nourishing the skin.
Raw milk can be used to prepare a good home remedy for Whiteheads and Blackheads. Add a pinch of salt and 2 teaspoonfuls of Lime Juice to the fresh (not boiled) milk. This can be cleansing as well as nourishing, and will help to clean the area where Sebum tends to accumulate.
