A healthy, radiant and blemish-free skin is what every woman longs for. Most of us apply make-up in order to get that flawless look. But we can look much more gorgeous without make-up if we have beautiful skin. All we need to do is to focus on the health of our skin. A beautiful flawless skin does not need any touches of make-up. The purpose of applying make-up is to camouflage or cover up the various flaws in our skin in order to bring that perfect look.
Moreover, applying make-up is a time consuming work and application errors can even make you look worse. Again, many of us cannot apply make-up due to various side- effects on our skin. There may be break-outs, clogged pores, rashes, dryness etc. Nothing can be better than wearing your own flawless, clear, healthy and radiant skin. And to achieve that perfect skin all you need to do is to take care of your skin by following a strict beauty regime without negligence.
Choose The Right Products For Your Skin
Before starting with any skin care regime, the first thing that you should do is to examine and find out your skin type. Some people may have oily skin that appears shiny all the time; some may have dry skin that appears flaky while some may have combination skin that shows the attributes of both. There are various readily available products meant particularly for each skin type and hence choose accordingly. This is because using a product that is not meant for your skin type can come to no help when treating your skin condition.
Following a daily cleansing, toning and moisturizing regime is very important to get that glowing skin. Choose the right cleanser, toner and moisturizer meant for your skin. Wash your face with a cleanser at least two times a day. After cleansing your skin always apply toner on your skin to improve the tone of your skin and to make it firmer and tighter. Moisturizing is very important in order to keep your skin hydrated and hence supple.
Apply moisturizer two times daily on cleansed skin once in the morning and once before going to bed at night. Moisturizer for dry skin should especially aim at repairing flaky and damaged skin. For oily skin, one should go for an oil-free light moisturizer in order to avoid clogging of pores.
A cleansing, toning and moisturizing regime alone is not enough for your skin. It is equally important to remove the dead skin cells from your skin. And for this you need to use an appropriate exfoliant for your skin type at least twice a week. The exfoliant helps to remove the dead skin cells, polishes and evens out your skin tone.
Always apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. The ultraviolet rays of the sun harm our skin in various ways leaving behind pigmentation, patchy skin, scars etc. Sunscreens should be chosen wisely and should be of minimum SPF 30 to get effective sun protection.
Having a good seven to eight hours of sleep at night can work wonders on your skin. Insufficient sleep can lead to puffy eyes, eye bags and dark circles under the eyes. Having a balanced diet with the adequate intake of calories is again very important to maintain the health of your skin. Drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water will help to drain out the toxins and hence help your skin to glow and improve the skin tone.A clear, radiant and glowing complexion needs regular concealers and foundations application to hide the imperfections of your skin. Therefore, the best way to look gorgeous sans make-up is to maintain and improve your skin health.
