Women spend a sizable amount of money on numerous lotions and creams to attain the most gorgeous looking face.
Still they do not get the desired from readymade products. Hence, nothing can beat the homemade items when it comes to facial care. Moreover, scrub is one of the most essential items of face cleaning routine. It is used to extract the dead cells from the skin and impart a fresher look. It is an exfoliating agent.
There are numerous methods to make homemade face scrub. Facial scrub made at home is 100% safe and free from any side effects. Moreover, you can store the homemade scrub in the refrigerator for couple of days. However, owing to the tenderness of face, the scrub we use for face is not suited for other body parts. Hence, there are different scrubs for face and body. Below mentioned are some methods of preparing homemade face scrubs:
Homemade face scrubs
Baking soda scrub
It is one of the most basic scrubs. Mix a pinch of baking soda in 1 tablespoon of water. Pour the mixture on your palm and splash it all over your face. Then, gently message in circular motion till it gets absorbed into your skin thoroughly. Finally wash your face with normal water. You can also mix sugar granules into the baking soda mixture. However, this step is optional. If your skin is too sensitive then you should avoid this step.
Almond Milk Scrub
Take 3-4 almonds. Chop them finely. Take 2 tbsp of white clay and 1 tbsp of dried milk. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. The end product should be a coarse paste.
Take a dollop of the paste on to your palm and spread all across your face. Thereafter, message in a circular motion and allow the skin to absorb the paste. The granules of almonds will exfoliate your skin gently and leave it soft and supple. Wash with regular water (you can also use mild soap) after massaging.
Take 3-4 tbsp of corn meal and mix it with plain water. Splash your face with this mixture then do gentle rubbing. It will remove all the dead cells from your skin. Exfoliate your face at least twice a week with this scrub.
Milk and Honey Scrub
This scrub is best for those who have dry skin. Take half a cup of milk; mix this milk with ½ tbsp of milk cream. Add 1 tsp of honey with coarsely grounded almonds.
Prepare a thick paste from all these ingredients. Exfoliate your face with this paste. You can repeat the procedure every 8-10 days for best results.
Tea Tree and Almond Scrub
Take few drops of liquid soap. Pour 3-4 drops of tea tree oil into the liquid soap. Finally add almond meal. Mix in all the ingredients thoroughly. Exfoliate your face with this mixture. Finally wash off with plain water. Repeat the procedure at regular interval for everlasting results.
