Hair style is one of most important phase of makeup. The hairstyle largely depends on the hair; its health, the type of hair etc. Some would like to have straight long hair which is easy to deal with. Some would like to have curly hair and it would be bit difficult to work on.
However, far from the general perception, curly hair can be made straight and it can be made easy to work on. It all depends on how effectively one deals with it and one’s understanding about the curly hair. Some suggestions are offered here to make the curly hair straight:
Preparation:
After shower, dry the hair by gently patting it with a towel. Then use a hair drier till the hair is still a little damp. Curly hair will have many tangles. So, use a paddle brush and remove the tangles. Take six hair bands. Part the hair into two layers. Now take each of the separated part and further divide it into three more parts. Tie all these six parts with a hair band. Now allow the hair to dry completely. Paddle brush each of these six parts separately.
Straightening process:
The process of straightening can start when shampoo is applied. Starting from the end and going up to the root, straighten the hair by using a wide toothed comb. After washing the hair apply a hair straighter, but apply the spray when the hair is still wet.
One of the reasons for curls is damage caused due to sun or heat. To prevent this, use a hair product or hair conditioner before venturing out in the sun. Some even use a cap. After shampoo, wash the hair with cold water. This prevents damage to the hair and even smoothens the hair.
Another method is to brush the hair with wide toothed brush after washing and then use a hair spray. One of the best methods to dry the hair is by using fingers instead of brush and along the fingers use the hair dry. Occasionally use flat iron. This will unlock the hair. Periodically trim the hair so as to prevent excess volume of hair.
The straightening can also be done by pinning part of the hair at the top of the head. Pull down the remaining part by using a wide toothed brush, but ensure that the hair at the top of the head is straightened. Do not let any string of hair to escape the brush.
