Tea Tree oil has powerful anti-bacterial and antifungal properties which is beneficial for many types of skin infections. Clean the affected area well and apply this oil with a cotton swab twice a day till the rash completely disappears. It is also advisable to use soaps and powders containing tea tree oil for maximum benefit.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Washing the affected area with diluted apple cider vinegar is also a good way to cure not only the jock itch but various other skin infections.
One teaspoon of the vinegar is added to a glass of water and the affected area is washed with this and allowed to dry on its own. This is done three to four times a day especially before sleeping.
Garlic cloves crushed and applied directly on the affected area gives instant relief from the itching and burning sensation. The garlic cloves can also be mixed with olive oil and applied twice or thrice a day for immediate relief.
