Natural Face MasksThis article covers natural homemade face packs for different skin types.

Packs for dry skin

A good moisturizing pack for dry skin is a mixture of two tablespoons of cream with one tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this over the face and neck and wash off after ten to fifteen minutes to get really soft skin. Another mix for dry skin is one tablespoon of fuller’s earth, 15 drops of orange juice, one tablespoon of rose water and one tablespoon of honey. Apply and remove this mixture after ten minutes.

Packs for oily skin

A thick paste made of egg white and honey is good for oily skin as it helps reduce the oiliness of the skin without removing its moisture. Leave this pack on for ten minutes and then wash off. Two tablespoons of papaya nicely beaten along with some lemon juice helps bleach and give a glow to the skin. Juices of fruits like orange, sweet lime or watermelon help improve blood circulation to the face, helps you to relax and also cleanses the skin.

Packs for normal skin

Carrot mask: Take two to three nicely cooked carrots and mash them. To this add 4 tablespoons of honey and apply to your face. Wash with cold water after ten minutes.

Honey mask: Honey is the most recommended and one of the best natural ingredients you can use on your face. Use warm cloth or steam on your face to open up the pores and apply honey. After 20 to 30 minutes wash it with warm water and then splash on cold water or rub on ice to close the pores. A honey pack once a week keeps the skin soft and glowing.

Yogurt and orange mask: Mix the juice of quarter of an orange and one teaspoon of yoghurt. This pack helps your face to relax and cool. Yoghurt helps to clean and moisturize the skin and orange is rich in vitamin C.

Papaya and fuller’s earth mask: Take one tablespoon honey, one tablespoon papaya pulp and one tablespoon of fuller’s earth and make a paste. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse. This mask makes your skin radiant and glowing.
