We all know that pregnant women have a special glow in their face. They exude radiance and every thing they do is done in a relaxed and pleasant manner.

Though it is said they do have a special glow, pregnant ladies do try to give themselves a little bit of pampering in a effort to have a baby face during the time they are pregnant, to relieve their stress and other problems.

Some women like to self-massage their body parts to relieve stress like headaches and other problems or to just relax. Here are some self-massaging tips for pregnant women to reduce headaches and for relaxing the facial muscles:

Tip 1: Use the fingertips of both hands to stroke the forehead of the midpoint towards the forehead temple, and then slowly rub the entire area between the brow and the hairline. This will help in reducing a headache.

Tip 2: Put both the hands above the eyebrow ridge of your nose and then inhale deeply, pinch your eyebrow ridge while exhaling. Repeat the process as long as you feel the need to relax the area around the nose.

Tip 3: Put the middle and index fingers of both hands on either side of the nose, till the area where the cheekbone meets the nostril. Then start inhaling, while inhaling do remember to keep the fingers’ pressed. Repeat the same process from the nose to the cheekbones till you reach the temples. This brings down the headache level.

Tip 4: Use your fingertips to make small circles from the temple to the jawbone continuously. Repeat the process till you reach the tip of the chin to relax your jawbones.

Tip 5: Use the flat part of your fingertips to make soft circles in the fleshy part of the cheeks, to relax the cheek muscles.

Tip 6: Relax the area around the ears from the top of the ear ridge, right down to the ear lobe and then back again as gently as possible. Do it as many times as you like to relax the ears.

Tip 7: Use the fingertips to push the muscles around the jawbone to the temples slowly up to the ear. Now repeat the same process from the temple back to the jawbone right down to the chin. Then massage the whole head with the fingertips as if shampooing.
