Therefore, you start with all the attempts to get pregnant. You have been trying now for some while and you are not sure if it is working or not. You start noticing that something is changing with your body physiologically as well as emotionally. However, you are not able to determine for sure if you are truly pregnant or not.
If you are confused then read on to find out some common symptoms that indicate that you have some good news round the corner.
Missed period
This is the most common sign that you have conceived and may be pregnant. However, you should not get hasty in these matters because it is possible that your period was delayed due to some other reason. Therefore, if you have missed your period, taking a pregnancy test is a good idea to clear any doubts.
Several pregnancy test kits are available on the market. Get one for yourself and confirm the results. You can also opt for pelvic exams by your doctor to be sure. Sometimes, even if you are pregnant, you do get periods but they are very scanty or light.
Morning sickness
Women generally experience morning sickness during pregnancy and it starts about in the first two weeks of conceiving. You can experience nausea and vomiting along with it. It is not necessary that it occurs in the morning only, it may happen anytime. Even some smells can cause nausea and vomiting, or either one of them.
Frequent urination
You will find yourself making more trips than normal to the bathroom. You might even feel you practically live there. Because there is more pressure on the bladder due to the expanding uterus, you find yourself in the bathroom so many times. This is common during the first and third trimester of pregnancy.
Unusual fatigue
You have been doing nothing and yet you feel all worn out, although you have been used to working and being active. This is a normal sign. Your body is working overtime to adjust to the newest entry. It is working hard to make things as comfortable as possible for your baby and that is why it might be wearing you out.
Tender breasts
However, you can have tender breasts during or before your periods also. Therefore, you need not rely on this symptom alone. However, along with other symptoms this can be an indication.
Implantation bleeding
This is different for different women. You might experience light bleeding or spotting after conception. Therefore, contact your doctor to clear any doubts.
