The Simplest Yet Effective Homemade Moisturizers

Cleaning, exfoliating and moisturizing are the first rules to have healthy glowing skin. Unfortunately, we often forget the moisturizing part, especially those with oily skin believe that they do not need the extra moisturizing. But the truth is; they do. When you are buying a moisturizer, check the label and go for an all natural one. If you wish to make your own moisturizer, here are some recipes. They are easy to make and effective.

Recipe 1: Mix 2 tablespoons of vegetable Glycerin and 3 tablespoons of Rosewater. Mix the two well and store it in cool place.

Recipe 2: Aloe Vera is great for skin. Mix equal amount of mineral water and Aloe Vera gel. Heat the mixture till it becomes a cream. When it cools down, store it in an airtight jar.

Recipe 3: This moisturizer is great for dry skin. Take 2 tablespoons of ground Almond Oil and Olive Oil, mix them well. Massage the mixture on your face, as well as neck and after half hour wash it with water.

Recipe 4: Mix one part Glycerin and two parts of Rosewater. Apply this mixture on your face every night before going to bed.

Recipe 5: Heat 1 tablespoon of Cocoa Butter with 2 tablespoons of Jojoba Oil in a double burner. Keep heating the mixture till it becomes creamy. Make sure the heat is gentle. When it cools, store it in a jar. This is a great moisturizer for dry skin.

Recipe 6: Natural oil makes great moisturizer. Take equal amount (1 tablespoon) of Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Vegetable Oil; mix them with a few drops of Vitamin E and 2-3 mashed Strawberries. Mix them well, and apply them on your face and neck. Keep it for half hour and then rinse with water. This is not really your leave on moisturizer, but it is great for the skin.

Recipe 7: To make a moisturizer rich with protein, mix one egg yolk, one tablespoon of Grape Seed Oil and ¼ cup of milk. Make sure the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
