You made the decision to finally pop the question and she said yes. From that point on it seems as though things have not stopped moving for you. The planning of the wedding, your friends trying togive you advice and plan a bachelor party. Even your parents on both sides have seemed to jump in and started to try and run your life.
It is important that everything goes off without a hitch. Trying to keep the bride from going crazy with all of the plans that need to be made and even getting your clothing picked out can seem like such a burden. Start planning from the very beginning. This way you can keep your fiancé sane and yourself at the same time. When she has a new idea, hear her out. This is in your best interest.
The exchanging of gifts between the bride and groom are normal before the wedding. With all that you have going on, be sure to set aside plenty of time to so that you get her something that she will always remember. A blender will not do.
When the time comes for you to pick out your clothes for the special day, be sure that your clothes work with hers. The styles are important and this needs to be done in plenty of time. Start looking and pick it out no less than three months before the big day.
Last but not least, this is not the day that you want to oversleep. Be sure to get up in enough time to give yourself a clean shave, make sure that you don’t have a uni-brow and that your clothes are pressed. Wrinkles and a 5 o’clock shadow will do nothing for you after the wedding.
Most of all, keep her happy and you will be pleased with the final results of all your hard work. This day will stay with you forever, so make it the best that you possibly can and ask for help if the need arises.
