It is suggested for an oily scalp that the conditioner should be used only mildly. Do not apply it near the root of the hair and ensure that the conditioner suitable for oily hair only.
Rinsing the head with vinegar is beneficial for the hair and the oily scalp. The acidic properties of vinegar help prevent the buildup of oil on the hair and the scalp. Vinegar also gives a free bouncy look to the hair.
There is a quick remedy requiring a deft hand. Apply baby powder to the root of the hair and very lightly then brush your hair from the root to the tip. Not only will you have removed the excess oil from the scalp but also you will give a free look to the hair. Ensure that the powder is not applied too much.
