Hair is a girl’s most precious jewel and not to mention every girl wants to have beautiful healthy hair. But to have healthy hair, one needs to take good care of the lovely locks because without proper care, your hair will lose the shine, and become limp and damaged.
The first rule to having healthy hair is to make sure your hair gets proper nourishment from the inside. You can ensure that by having a proper diet. Eat a good amount of fruits and vegetables. Water is also very important.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water. That will keep your body well hydrated which is very important. If your body is dehydrated then your hair will become dry as well. So water is a must.
Without clean scalp, you can never have healthy hair. Wash your hair with a good shampoo at least three times a week. That will wash off the dirt, oil and the dead skin cells from the scalp, leaving it clean. But make sure you use a mild shampoo. Using something too harsh will leave your hair dry. And make sure you apply conditioner.
Oil is beneficial for hair. There are so many essential oils to choose from, isn’t it? Some of the best ones are Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Almond Oil. You can apply any of these oils to your hair and scalp. You can heat up the oil before using it. For better results, mix a bit of Castor Oil into whichever oil you are using. Keep it for an hour and then wash it with shampoo. Do this at least three times a week.
Henna is great for hair as well. It not only adds colour to the locks, but also strengthens the roots, thus preventing hair fall. Apply Henna to your hair twice a month. For extra shine and softness, mix a bit of natural sour cream with Henna.
Make a habit of trimming you hair every two months. That will get rid of split ends.
Even if you love to experiment with your hair, it is better if you do not expose your hair to too much heat and chemical. After shower, air-dry the hair instead of using a dryer. Heat and chemicals damage your hair more than anything else. So try and avoid them as much as possible.
